Evia Lifestyle Center in Daang Hari

Lately, I noticed that Allie has been grumbling a lot inside our room but immediately perks up when I take her outside. She has become one easily bored baby, always wanting to see something different! Okay you win, little one. Yesterday, we decided to treat her to a Baby’s Day Out.

Living in the South, the usual go to malls here are Alabang Town Center and SM South Mall. Since it was a Sunday, I knew South Mall would be too crowded, and Allie has just recently gotten over her cough and colds so I did not want to expose her again too much. We also just came from ATC a couple of days ago so I wanted to bring her somewhere new.

I found out recently about Evia Lifestyle Center from a friend, and fortunately for us, it’s quite accessible from our place via Daang Hari.

Outside Evia Lifestyle Mall

Even if it was a Sunday, I noticed that it’s not as crowded as your usual malls (i.e SM!). I couldn’t say the same for the parking though; both the outdoor and basement parking seemed to be packed.

What I liked immediately about Evia Lifestyle Center is that there’s space to stroll both indoors and outdoors! Indoors, the mall was well-lit with natural lighting but at the same time was well air-conditioned. They have all kinds of clothing stores, restaurants, coffee shops, an activity center, Rustan’s Supermarket, and they have a cinema as well.

You know you’re a Mommy when you get excited more over Rustan’s Supermarket than H&M!

I noticed that the crowd was mostly mid-to-high-end. Some of the restaurants there are similar to what you’ll find in Greenbelt or Glorietta.

There happened to be a Mompreneur Fair during that time so of course I had to check out what I could possibly buy for Allie!

There were so many things to buy but I only ended up buying Mosquito Patches. I get extremely annoyed whenever a mosquito somehow made its way to Allie despite my being a Hawk Mom!

Oooh a Toy Store! All Toys were divided into two stores. One is very pretty and decorated for the little girls. Allie seems to be more engrossed with sucking her hands than looking at the toys though. I have to enjoy these moments because I imagine when she’s big enough to run around she’d be going up and down the aisle pointing and grabbing at the toys!

All Toys

Look at those cute teddy bears lounging around and looking like they’re having a tea party! The other store just beside it is with the Iron Man display.

The sky ceiling instantly reminds us of The Venetian Macau. A nice touch for a more picturesque view!

I so love the decors of this restaurant, Another Story. It transports you into a storybook setting. I would like to try this restaurant next time I’m there!

We spent about three hours at the mall before Allie got hungry so we stopped by Vanilla Cupcakes to feed her and got ourselves some milkshake for dessert.

Overall, we enjoyed going around. It was a particularly hot day so we spent more time within the mall. We’ll definitely be back again!

Wow! Ito na pala yun. The last time I passed through Daang Hari, wala pa yata ito. So much has changed na pala.

That’s my kind of mall! Spacious, child-friendly, but with lots of stores to see and visit. And yes, grocery trumps clothing stores every time!

  3. Ang ganda naman jan! Sana magkaron sa Manila. Sarap sana puntahan.

Wow, nice! We lived in a village stringed to Daang Hari 5 years ago before we moved to Makati, but this facility was not yet up. Galing naman. Tama ka, it was either ATC (my favorite mall there) or SM Southmall, but Festival Mall is fine, too if you don’t mind the type of crowd it gathers sometimes. And when I’m feeling brave (and gustong magtipid) I even go to Starmall in Alabang where you can find the same types of shoes and clothes for much reasonable prices, hihi. I grew up in the South so I pretty much know that place like the back of my hand. I’m excited to visit Evia one day.

I don’t know much about places since the south since I’ve lived in Mandaluyong since I started working in the big metro. The place looks nice. The second photo reminded me of the mall (it was a mall, I think) beside Kodak Theater in Hollywood when I visited the US back in 2007. 🙂

  7. admin says:

It’s not a supermall but it’s a good place to hang out hehe. There will be more developments more pa in the future! 🙂

I actually prefer smaller malls kse I’m super lazy and do not like walking a lot hahaha! Looks like a great place for family gala. 🙂

  9. Nerisa says:

Its nice to know that they have more stores now. when we went there early this year parang onti pa lang. must visit evia again soon.

  10. What a beautiful place. Di ako masyadong nagpapasyal sa mall pag walang important things na bibilhin kasi nakakapagod, huhuhu! lalo na ang active ng toddler ko nakakatakot. Good for you sis that you we’re able to explore with your little one.

I will surely enjoy as well when I stroll there. I love malls with spacious walk ways. And the ceiling is so unusual compared sa ibang malls we have been used to frequent. How I wish we have a mall similar to that or husband would be kind enough to drive us there.

  14. Wow I haven’t been to this place but it reminds me of the US!

  15. Nikole says:

Ay nice, the last time we went there, ginagawa pa the shops so medyo malamok pa but maybe soon we can drop by na when we get to visit my cousins in Cavite.

I like the intricate details of Evia. The cobble stone floor reminds me of Macao and I feel whimsical treading in this portion of the mall. 😛 I just wish nasa malamig na lugar tayo so we can stroll around without sweating. :))

  19. Joy says:

Wow! Evia Lifestyle Center looks really nice, it’s like one step up compare to SM malls! Hopefully there will be one too here in Q.C. 🙂

Before they have food bazaars pa.. wherein pwede kayo magdinner for P250 (family of 3) parang clothes nalang now. But we have a favorite resto there yung Merloin’s- singaporean dish.

  21. admin says:

Ohh I was eyeing Merlion’s! We ended up at Mesa. I’ll try that next time!

  22. Jean says:

Perhaps in the future! Villar seems to be expanding his malls so I won’t be surprised if one pops up in QC as well!

haha my hubby only agreed to drive us there because it’s much closer to us than other malls (like Glorietta, Greenbelt, etc)

  26. Jean says:

I’d say it’s kid friendly! Not too crowded!

  27. Jean says:

Kaya pa with carrier… but I will also soon experience the nakakapagod toddler stage haha!

  28. Jean says:

nadagdagan na 🙂 but some shops still have yet to open

  29. Jean says:

It is! If purely shopping ang purpose, siguro other malls dapat para more options, pag dito, medyo stroll stroll and kain lang, or shop at supermarket 🙂

  30. Louisa says:

Way too far from me but if I should be in the area I won’t miss the chance to visit. Looks like some great shops and dining choices. Love the indoor Macau!
